Family Engagement Programs

Family Connections is a 1–2 hour community workshop that helps families strengthen communication, support learning at home, and build closer relationships. Through hands-on activities like creating a family shield and a talk-time jar, participants explore what makes their families strong while gaining practical tools to use at home. Designed for families with children from preschool through high school, the workshop encourages fun, reflection, and meaningful connection. 

Family Voices is a 4-week family engagement program designed to strengthen partnerships between families and schools for students from preschool through high school. The program fosters open dialogue, shared decision-making, and collaborative problem-solving, helping every family feel heard, valued, and involved in their child’s education. As part of the program, five families will also receive a free one-on-one family consultation to support their unique needs and goals.  

Families Connected is a six-week program for families with children from preschool to high school that strengthens home-school partnerships through fun, hands-on activities. Each session includes a make-and-take project that supports learning, communication, and family connection at home. 

Family Roots is a six-week program that helps families with children from preschool to high school strengthen connections, celebrate cultural identity, and support learning at home. Through weekly themes and hands-on activities, families explore their values, build emotional wellness, and grow together in a supportive community setting.
